eCommerce UX Lead

Location: India, UAE, UK, remote

Job Summary: Assurex is seeking an experienced eCommerce UX Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and leading the user experience strategy for our eCommerce platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the UX vision and strategy for our eCommerce platform, ensuring that it aligns with business goals and customer needs.
  • Lead the UX design process from discovery to delivery, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and designers, to ensure that the eCommerce platform meets customer requirements and business needs.
  • Create and maintain UX design documentation, including personas, user journeys, and design specifications.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UX design trends and best practices, and share your knowledge with the team.
  • Advocate for the user throughout the design and development process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in UX design, with a focus on eCommerce platforms.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Experience leading UX design projects from discovery to delivery.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
  • Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
